Lambros Papanikolatos studied Marketing, Communications and Advertising (BA) in Athens and received a MA in fine art photography from the Film Academy (FAMU), in Prague. He also holds a degree in Media and Multimedia design from The Hague University, in the Netherlands. He is an Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation scholar (1999 – 2001) and received a Fulbright Grant (2003-2004) to further pursue his studies in photography, in New York. His work has been widely exhibited, and is hosted permanently in Museum Collections worldwide.
He has gained wide experience in cultural projects consultation, production and coordination, through his successful collaborations with internationally acclaimed Photography Festivals (such as the Houston FotoFest, Festival of Light, European Month of Photography) and cultural institutions in Greece (such as the Thessaloniki Photography Museum and The J.F. Costopoulos Foundation). He specializes in designing communications strategies and audiovisual documentation.
In 2008 he co-founded ART/IF/FACT, a non profit organisation for the educational development of creative photographers in Greece, for which he has been developing and delivering educational projects in all major cities.
Lambros, lives and works in Athens, Greece. He is a visual artist, an art management consultant and an educator.
